B.C. surgical innovation cuts ovarian cancer risk

More than 3,000 Canadians are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year, and there’s currently no reliable screening. A team of researchers in B.C. now found that a preventative procedure can reduce the risk of the deadly disease. Cecilia Hua reports.
