VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – It’s an oddity often worth checking out… the Google Doodle.
It’s been 10 years since Google started spicing up its main page with holiday and notable day themes. Michael Lopez, a 29-year-old graphic artist from San Francisco, is the current chief doodler and second to have the position.
He says many of those designs are doodles themselves, on napkins and scraps of paper. His favourite? Valentines Day.
Despite the same holidays happening year after year, Lopez tells the Telegraph, the challenge is not coming up with something new, but picking which one to go with.
