RCMP recommend charges linked to Pitt Meadows rave

PITT MEADOWS (NEWS1130) – Mounties are recommending charges against two men after a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at a rave party in Pitt Meadows.

Sergeant Peter Thiessen says the first recommendation is against a young man they dealt with before. “One charge of sex assault against an 18-year-old male who we have arrested previously and spoke about publicly.”

The second recommendation is about another adult man. “We feel there’s evidence to support a charge of distribution of child pornography.”

A 16-year-old teen from Maple Ridge has already been charged with distribution of child porn after photos of the incident ended up online.

Police are still asking for anyone with more information to give them a call.
