Marchers say inquiry will be inadequate

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – More criticism levelled at BC’s missing women inquiry during a march in downtown Vancouver Monday to remember missing and murdered women.

Delannah Bowen is with the Women’s Memorial March, held every year on Valentine’s Day.

“I want you to think about your mother lying in a gutter somewhere as a result of violence. This isn’t okay,” she told the gathering.

Marchers say the inquiry into the Robert Pickton serial killing case is not properly consulting with the victims’ families or aboriginal groups.
