PRINCE GEORGE (NEWS1130) – It was Mountie versus moose early this morning in Prince George.
An officer was parked on the side of the road, typing up a report when he saw two bull moose walking by, one of which attacked his cruiser.
The animal broke the front grill and bumper and then climbed onto the roof of the car, causing dents to the hood and roof. It also broke the windshield.
The moose then kicked in a window, hitting the officer in the shoulder. The animal eventually got off the cruiser.
“Both the culprit and accomplice departed the area on hoof,” reads a release from the RCMP.
The officer has a few bruises on his shoulder, but he’ll be okay.
