Thousands in Apple products stolen from Langley warehouse

LANGLEY (NEWS1130) – You’d better double check that iPhone or iPad you bought from someone on Craigslist or Kijiji.

Corporal Holly Marks with Langley RCMP says there could be a chance that it is stolen.

She says more than $20,000 worth of Apple Products was ripped off from the Best Buy Warehouse over the last month by an employee.

“We actually seized about $12,000 in cash which was money that was taken in for the sale of these items, so there is a good number of them that have actually been sold. We are hoping to trace some of them through the serial number on the cellphone itself.”

A 23-year-old man heads to court early next year.
