Cessation medication making some people sick

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A drug meant to put smokers back on the path to good health seems to be having the opposite effect.
The cessation medication has sent dozens of people to the hospital in BC over the past year.
The problem is that some smokers have overdosed on the drug, which is marketed under the brand names Wellbutrin and Zyban.
The BC Drug and Poison Control Centre says 64 people needed hospital care — and 22 of those cases were considered critical.
