PRINCE GEORGE (NEWS 1130) – A snowmobiler has been killed in an avalanche in northern BC.
Prince George RCMP say a group of five snowmobilers were riding in the Torpy Mountain range yesterday morning when the slide hit, sweeping one man to his death.
The four others were not hurt.
Police say all the riders had experience and were properly equipped.
