City of Vancouver files injunctions to close medical marijuana shops

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – The City of Vancouver has filed injunctions against some of the 55 medical marijuana shops still open past the April deadline to close.
The shops named are not complying with zoning rules, according to the city.
Injunctions filed today are meant to compel 17 of the remaining stores to close up.
These shops are singled out due to development permits already approved, community feedback and response to enforcement up until now.
Here are the shops mentioned in the injunctions.

- 512 Beatty Street- Cannabis Culture / The Healing Tree
- 8640 Granville Street- Divine Ventures
- 1232 Burrard Street- Weeds Glass & Gifts
- 1108 Richards Street- Weeds Glass & Gifts
- 104 – 1807 Burrard Street- Weeds Glass & Gifts
- 405 Skeena Street- Weeds Glass & Gifts
- 1299 Kingsway- Vancity Medicinals
- 6657 Main Street-Weeds Glass & Gifts
- 2580 Kingsway- Weeds Glass & Gifts
- 6128 Fraser Street- Imedikate
- 2145 Kingsway- Green Cross Society BC
