Chilliwack parent pens scathing review of local water park

CHILLIWACK (NEWS1130) — While a parent says she will never let her son visit Bridal Falls Water Park again, the park says it’s making changes.
Some children who visited the Chilliwack attraction with their day camp Thursday came away with rashes and burns, according to a parent who took her concerns to social media
According to the post, the water contained higher-than-normal PH levels of chlorine.
The parent who made the social media post says her seven-year-old son had chemical burns and was taken to the hospital to get checked out.
A staff member at the Bridal Falls Water Park says his colleagues are being retrained, after some kids came away with injuries this week.
The park staff member, who did not want to be identified, says procedures are being updated so that this doesn’t happen again.
