SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A sizeable outage in Surrey has left thousands of customers without power.
The outage has hit about 6,000 customers north of Highway 10, between 138 and about 160 streets, and south of about 84 Avenue.
Crews are on scene to try and figure out the cause, but a caller to NEWS 1130 says it looks like a transformer may have blown.
It’s unclear when BC Hydro will have electricity back up.
