VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — More speed cameras are coming to Metro Vancouver to curb speeding.
The province plans to have all 35 cameras up and running by the end of March.
A number will be functional by Feb. 24, including in Coquitlam at Barnet Highway and Mariner Way, in Delta at Nordel Way and 84th Avenue, and in Langley at 200th Street and 64th Avenue. Surrey will be getting more cameras as well.
Fines for speeding run from $138 up to $483.
This is part of the Intersection Safety Camera program expansion announced last year.
