VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — The mascot for the Vancouver Canucks is venturing outside of the walls of Rogers Arena for a very special reason.

Fin the Orca visited a 5-year-old who had to cancel their birthday party because of social distancing rules.

In a video posted to Twitter Monday, a young boy named Noah is seen waiting at his front door. While his mom tells him he has a special visitor for his 5th birthday.

Of course, Fin is keeping his distance, waving to Noah and holding a sign from a Canucks-themed shuttle bus.

Fin posted the video on twitter Monday, where it is quickly racking up over 900 views.
