TORONTO (NEWS 1130) – The Hearts and Smiles Campaign is off to a strong start, inspiring Canadians to donate more than $700,000 in just one day.
Started by Rogers Sports and Media, the campaign is aimed at helping to provide healthcare workers nation-wide with personal protective equipment.
You can buy a t-shirt, mask, or both until Friday with all proceeds going to The Frontline Fund, which helps more than 150 hospital foundations across Canada.
Along with PPE, the fund also provides frontline workers with resources and other supplies, and is helping to fund development of a COVID-19 vaccine.
So far, more than 15,000 limited edition Hearts and Smiles shirts and masks have been sold, and we’re not done helping yet.
You can purchase a t-shirt ($30), a t-shirt & mask combo ($40) or a 10-pack of masks for $90 here.
Frontline workers have got our backs, now let’s have theirs.
