Limited edition Compass Cards inspired by Dr. Bonnie Henry expected to sell out

VICTORIA (NEWS 1130) — New limited edition Compass Cards inspired by B.C.’s top doctor are selling fast.
TransLink’s Gabrielle Price says passes containing Dr. Bonnie Henry’s “Be kind, be calm, be safe” motto are expected to be sold out within a few days.
“This is just a great opportunity for us to work with our provincial health officer and really kind of remind our customers of all the work TransLink is doing in order to keep the system as safe as we possibly can and it’s valuable to people,” she says.
The cards went on sale Tuesday, but if you want one, you can pick one up for $6. However, you will have to purchase one in person.
“We have three thousand cards available, and we’ve currently sold one thousand cards. They’re only available at the compass customer service office at Stadium-Chinatown station.”
Earlier this year Fluevog-designed Dr. Bonnie Henry shoes went on sale and in a matter of hours the $339 shoes sold out.
