RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) – Police in Richmond are looking for the person responsible for hateful graffiti on a poster featuring a Black man.
The poster, which shows the model wearing sunglasses, was near Hazelbridge Way and Browngate Road and includes a swastika and hateful words.
“Someone had painted some symbols and … anti-Black language on the poster,” Richmond RCMP Cpl. Ian Henderson said, adding the phrases were in Cantonese.

“It appears that the person who painted this on the poster appeared to be an older Asian male,” Henderson said.
He adds racism is “not restricted to one ethnicity or culture, and it could not be tolerated, in any case.”
