Record $120 million in Lotto Max prizes up for grabs Friday

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Someone could win the $70 million Lotto Max jackpot Friday, after it again went unclaimed in Tuesday night’s draw. There are also an estimated 50 $1-million Maxmillion prizes to be won.
This lottery breaks the record which was set earlier this week, when an estimated $117 million in prizes was up for grabs. The last record before that was on Oct. 26, 2018 with a total of $116 million in prizes.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation says more than $58 million has been won by lotto players in B.C. so far in 2021.
The odds of winning the main jackpot is one in 33,294,800 per play. The overall odds to win any prize is one in seven.
