VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — The Vancouver Aquarium is preparing for its grand reopening by hosting a job fair Friday and Saturday.
Looking to hire 100 positions, the two day fair will be held at the aquarium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The aquarium closed due to the financial losses during the pandemic last September, and then sold in April this year to a U.S. consortium that owns the theme park Dollywood, and the Harlem Globetrotters.
Some of the jobs available include retail, working in the kitchen and in tickets and admission.
Signs of reopening are here. Stay tuned for more details. Look forward to sea-ing you soon. #vanaqua #vancouver #LoveVancouver pic.twitter.com/7o14Y3YVOy

Those looking for work need to bring a copy of their resume with them, and if offered a position will receive a letter of offer on site.
The aquarium has not yet confirmed a reopening date.
