The city is urging residents and park visitors to use caution when using Delta’s outdoor spaces, and to be mindful of any and all potential “ignition sources.”
Effective immediately, the city is banning smoking, vaping and barbeques in local parks — this includes the use of propane barbecues.
Delta has already been restricting backyard fires and barbeques due to concerns about the conditions.
