Serious crash in Abbotsford closes section of MacLure Road

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – A serious crash along MacLure Road in Abbotsford has shut the major route down, with delays expected through Tuesday’s morning commute.

Police say MacLure is closed between Trethewey Street and Gladwin Road in both directions.

People are being asked to avoid the area to allow emergency crews access, without getting stuck in traffic.

It’s unclear if anyone was hurt in the crash, or how serious potential injuries may be. Police have told NEWS 1130 they are still in the early stages of their investigation.
