16 people hurt in Abbotsford crash involving bus

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) — A multi-vehicle crash involving a bus in Abbotsford Tuesday morning left 16 hurt.
Six ambulances and a helicopter were called to the scene at Maclure Road around 6 a.m.
“Three patients were critical, including one patient airlifted to hospital. Two more patients were transported to hospital in serious but stable condition,” an email statement from Emergency Health Services reads.

EHS says 11 other people were treated at the scene for various injuries, but did not require hospitalization.
The crash forced the closure of Maclure Road between Trethewey Street and Gladwin Road for hours.
It’s unclear what exactly caused the crash.
