Man dead, two others injured in South Vancouver homicide

One man has been killed and two others are seriously injured after an incident in South Vancouver.

Vancouver police responded to a roll-over crash around 11 p.m. Saturday night near Fraser Street and East 55th Ave where officers found the three victims.

In a statement, VPD believes the three men were riding in the vehicle when they were involved in a “confrontation” with another car. Police are calling the incident the city’s 14th homicide of the year.

A Vancouver man was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the other two are being treated for their injuries.

Police are asking for any witnesses who were in the area of Main and Fraser Street, between 41st and 57th Avenue, between 10:30 and 11:15 p.m. Saturday night. Anyone with information is asked to call VPD’s Major Crime Section at 604-717-2500.
