Burnaby Hilton hotel workers reach tentative deal with employer, after year-long dispute: union

A union representing workers at a Burnaby hotel says it has reached a tentative deal, after a year-long labour dispute.

The agreement was reached after two days of mediation with the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown Hotel, according to UNITE HERE Local 40.

A ratification vote is expected to be held Wednesday. If approved, the union says the return-to-work process will begin Thursday.

According to the union, the dispute was mainly over wages.
