Scammers trying to take advantage of Rogers service interruptions

Rogers is warning of a text message being sent out claiming to offer a credit in the wake of Friday’s service interruptions.

Some people are receiving a text message today saying they’ll get a credit from the outage if they open a link from a text message.

Rogers is calling this a scam and telling customers not to open the link. The company adding, the credit received will be automatically added to your account without needing to open anything.
