If you still haven’t had a chance to try mac-and-cheese ice cream, poutine perogies, or cotton candy noodles yet… the clock is ticking.
It’s the PNE Fair’s final weekend for the year, as Labour Day Monday marks the end of the annual festival.
Gates open at 11 a.m. all weekend and close at 11 p.m.
Before the end, you can catch final shows of the Summer Night Concert series, including the Beach Boys, Chaka Khan and the Bachman Cummings show.

Monday night is also the deadline for buying tickets for the PNE Prize Home, a more than 3,400 square foot three-bedroom home.
The two-week-long festival wraps up after some controversies during its run.
Some families who came from around Metro Vancouver felt let down by the coupon system in place, meaning their kids couldn’t go on rides.
When Lisa Clement showed up before the gates opened, her family had fair passes, but no ride passes.
“We did not feel we needed a $50 pass for our child to go on one little roundabout car ride and perhaps the Ferris wheel as a family,” she told CityNews during the first week of the fair. Her plan was to purchase coupons for only a couple of rides for her two-year-old child, but the ticket wicket for rides was closed by the time she arrived. The fair had decided to close the ticket kiosks to avoid long lineups.
Meanwhile, a mini-donut fan favourite was rejected from taking part in the fair this year. The operators of “Those Little Donuts” were told the fair already had similar products on tap.
