Police incident creates SkyTrain delays on Millennium Line

A police incident Thursday morning created delays for those wanting to take the Millennium Line SkyTrain between Renfrew and VCC-Clark stations.

At one point, trains were not running between those two stations, with a bus bridge set up from Renfrew to VCC.

However, both police and TransLink say the issue has since been resolved.

The stoppage created a domino effect, leaving many stations full.

Crowds were seen at Commercial-Broadway, while lineups also formed for buses along Broadway.

Transit Police says no charges related to the incident are being recommended.

Transit users are told to be patient and give themselves extra time getting around until congestion clears.
