Investigators have identified the man and woman who were found dead in a vehicle in Burnaby on Monday.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says the victims are 31-year-old Kiesha Garie and 30-year-old Umair Kasim of Coquitlam, both of whom had been previously reported missing to Coquitlam RCMP.
IHIT says it is now working with Mounties in both Coquitlam and Burnaby to try to build a timeline of events connecting the two victims to when they were last seen and when they were found dead.
