IHIT called to Langley after man killed in shooting

A man has been killed in an apparent shooting in Langley Thursday night, and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has now been called in.
According to the Langley RCMP, police were called to the Willoughby neighbourhood around 11 p.m. after reports of a shooting on 211B Street near 77A Avenue.
Mounties say a man was found with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting appears not to be a random act, Mounties say.
A Ford F-150 truck was found a short time later fully engulfed in flames near the area of 232nd Street and 76th Avenue, Langley RCMP says, and police are now asking for anyone who may have seen the vehicle or has video footage to contact investigators.
