Surrey RCMP looking for video after shots fired at a home

The RCMP is looking for video after a house was shot at in South Surrey this week.

Police were called to the area of 27A Avenue and 127 Street on Wednesday, Oct. 19, just after midnight.

When they got there, officers say people were still inside the home, but no one was hurt.

“It has not been determined why this residence was targeted, or if the residence was the intended target,” the RCMP says.

The people living at the house are not known to police.

“Investigators have been in the area over the past few days working to obtain any available video surveillance in an effort to identify the suspect vehicle,” said Surrey RCMP Cpl. Vanessa Munn.

Police are asking anyone in the area who has information about what happened or who has video to share to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
