Senior pedestrian dead after being hit by car, Vancouver police ask for dashcam footage

An 86-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle in Vancouver last Tuesday, according to police.
Vancouver police say a person was walking near East 2nd and Commercial Drive at 7:15 a.m. on Nov. 1, when they were hit by a Cadillac Escalade.

The woman was taken to the hospital, but she later died from her injuries.
The 49-year-old driver remained at the scene, and is co-operating with investigators.
