SkyTrain Expo Line disruption in Burnaby creates delays

The SkyTrain Expo Line between the Edmonds and Joyce-Collingwood Stations is experiencing delays, after TransLink closed multiple stations.
TransLink says current stations impacted are Edmonds, Joyce-Collingwood, Metrotown, Patterson, and Royal Oak.
“Expo Line customers travelling westbound will have to transfer to bus at Edmonds Station, and Expo Line customer travelling eastbound will have to transfer to bus at Joyce Station to continue their journeys. The Millennium and Canada Lines are unaffected,” TransLink said.

The organization says it is due to a “police incident.”

Transit Police say they are unsure of how long the closures will last.
Burnaby RCMP told CityNews multiple units have been deployed to help assist Transit Police.
