Surrey RCMP officers injured while breaking up fight

Surrey RCMP says three officers suffered injuries while breaking up a fight in the city’s Guildford neighbourhood Monday afternoon.
Police say just before 2 p.m., there were reports of a “suspicious person behaving erratically” at 104 Avenue and 146 Street.

When officers arrived, they say a fight broke out between two people. Mounties attempted to break up the altercation, saying three officers suffered minor injuries.
The incident prompted a heavy police presence, with callers telling CityNews Monday afternoon there were about a dozen cruisers seen in the area.
Police say the two suspects involved are believed to know each other and have both been arrested.
