Police across the province are looking for a man accused of threatening to stab a security guard over the summer.
The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says officers are searching for 44-year-old Mohammed Adada, who was charged for an incident in August in the neighbourhood of Champlain Heights.
Police say a security guard was threatened with a knife after asking a man to “move along.”

At the time Adada was arrested and then released on bail. But the VPD says the latest warrant was issued when he failed to show up in court.
The VPD also notes Adada has already been convicted for five different assaults since May 2021.
“He is considered a threat to public safety. Members of the public are advised not to approach him if he is seen,” a release from the VPD said.
Police say anyone who spots Adada, or who knows where he is, is asked to call 911.
