Many B.C. highways saw weather alerts issued Saturday by Environment and Climate Change Canada for heavy snowfall and treacherous conditions on the roadways.
On Sunday, only two alerts on highways remained from the weather agency, with a winter storm warning issued for the Okanagan Connector (Highway 97) from Merritt to Kelowna.
Winter tires or chains are required by law on all these routes or you could be turned around or fined, with penalties starting at $121.
