Tickets for Saturday’s annual fundraiser, Keithmas XII, have sold out in Vancouver.
Keithmas, not Christmas, celebrates the birth of legendary Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards through a tribute show. All ticket proceeds go to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
Rich Hope, one of the headline performers, says although tickets are sold out, people can still make a donation to the food bank in the thought and spirit of Keithmas.
“That’s what we do it for,” Hope explained.

Those looking for a break from Christmas music can a head to the Rickshaw, as the night features artists Spank Williams, Barney Bentall, Chance Lovett Music, and more.
Hope says everyone can expect a night full of good songs.
“There’s no bad ones. They’re all Keith songs and Stones songs, so the night is just full of a whole bunch of people who are really stoked to play the Stones,” Hope said.
Hope says Keithmas started 13 years ago with the idea of doing something fun, and turned into a yearly tradition.
