Man stabbed multiple times in targeted attack in Penticton: RCMP

A man was stabbed in the parking lot of a business along Martin Street in Penticton Saturday afternoon, according to RCMP.
Police say a 61-year-old man who was known to them was found at the scene with multiple stab wounds.

According to a witness statement, the victim was sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by a man who stabbed him multiple times before fleeing on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital. He is expected to survive.
Police believe it was a targeted attack that poses no further risk to the public.
