North Vancouver alleged road rage leads to assault: RCMP

North Vancouver RCMP are looking for witnesses after they say two people were assaulted in an alleged road rage incident.

On Wednesday, Mounties say officers responded to a call near Mount Seymour Parkway and Lillooet Road after bystanders called 911.

Police say people in two vehicles were seen leaving a Superstore parking lot, and then got into a fight.

“During the dispute, the occupants of one of the vehicles are alleged to have assaulted the occupants of the other vehicle,” a news release from Mounties said.

The alleged aggressors were in a black Dodge Minivan, according to police, and the victims were a man and a woman.

“Investigators have obtained some photo evidence of the individuals allegedly involved in the assault, but we believe there is more out there,” Cst. Mansoor Sahak explained.

“In an effort to further our investigation, we are asking anyone who saw what took place or who has cell phone or dash cam video, or any other evidence, to contact us at 604-985-1311 and quote file 23-219.”
