Surrey crash kills motorcyclist Sunday

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Surrey’s Grandview Heights neighbourhood Sunday evening.

The Surrey RCMP says at about 6:15 p.m., Mounties responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcyclist on 24th Avenue and 164th Street.

Police officers found the driver of the motorbike with life-threatening injuries, who was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Mounties say the driver of the other vehicle, which is reportedly a minivan, stayed on the scene and is co-operating with the investigation.

The Surrey RCMP is urging anyone with information about the crash, or who may have dash cam footage, to contact police at 604-599-0502 and quote file #23-71556.
