Pattullo Bridge open northbound

The Pattullo Bridge has reopened northbound, after work on the bridge’s replacement project shut lanes down over the weekend.
According to TransLink, work on the Royal Avenue overpass bridge deck got done earlier than expected.
Closures were previously slated to run until early Tuesday morning.

Royal Avenue in both directions between McBride Boulevard and the on-ramp is still closed, TransLink notes.
A release from the Pattullo Bridge Replacement project says the work causing this closure was actually supposed to take place between April 28 and May 1, but it was delayed because of an “equipment issue.”
Those who take bus routes along Royal Avenue are asked to keep an eye on the TransLink Trip Planner, as some routes and schedules may be impacted.
