4 people found dead in Prince Rupert home, homicide investigators called in: RCMP

Mounties in Prince Rupert say four people were found dead inside a home in the city.

According to the Prince Rupert RCMP, officers were called to a home on Silversides Drive around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the investigation is still in the early stages, and add that investigators “do not believe there are any outstanding suspects.”

“We are currently working alongside Major Crimes to conduct a thorough investigation,” Cst. Brody Hemrich said, “No names of the individuals will be released at this time.”

Mounties note there is no further risk to the public.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Prince Rupert RCMP at 250-624-2136, or to call Crime Stopper anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
