Prince George home invasion leaves 2 seriously hurt

Mounties in Prince George say two people were seriously hurt during an alleged home invasion on Monday night.

According to the Prince George RCMP, officers were called to a residence in the area of Nicholson and Kerr streets around 8 p.m.

“When officers arrived at the location, they located a man inside the home suffering from life-threatening injuries. A woman was also located with severe, but non-life-threatening injuries. Both victims were taken to the hospital by [BC] Emergency Health Services,” Corp. Jennifer Cooper explained.

Police didn’t note how the two were hurt, or if any suspects have been identified.

Mounties say the Serious Crime Unit has been called in, and is asking anyone with information or dash cam footage is asked to call 250-561-3300.
