We have a winner! Congratulations to Sara Hammond of Maple Ridge, who called in within 3 minutes and 30 seconds and is now $4,000 richer!
Meteorologist Michael Kuss missed the mark on Friday’s Guaranteed High.
When Hammond heard the news she exclaimed, “Shut up! Oh my god.”
“We’re going up to our cabin for our summer holidays, so maybe we’ll have some fun up there.”
She says she usually tells people she is a “saver,” but plans on spending the money.
“Maybe we’ll buy some extra toys. Maybe, I don’t know, fun stuff. Fun stuff with the kids,” she said.
The Escalating Weather Guarantee Jackpot is now back to $1,000. It goes up by $100 each weekday that Michael gets the Guaranteed High right. If he misses by more than 2 degrees Celsius, the jackpot goes up for grabs!
