One person airlifted to hospital after crash on Sea-to-Sky Highway

Paramedics say one person has been hospitalized after a crash on the Sea-to-Sky Highway Wednesday morning.
According to BC Emergency Health Services, reports of the crash near Cheakamus Canyon came in just after 9 a.m., with one ground and one air ambulance responding.
The agency says one person was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.
The crash led to the closure of the highway in both directions about 25 kilometres north of Squamish.
According to DriveBC, the incident has been cleared, but say delays are to be expected in the area. The highway was closed for about an hour in total.
