Hullo hit another snag as it began ferry service on Wednesday.
The highly-anticipated new passenger-only ferry finally set sail Wednesday morning, but its final two sailings didn’t run as scheduled.
The service is already set to run on a reduced schedule until August 31, which it explains will feature just four daily sailings in total — half of what Hullo initially scheduled.

Hullo set off at 10 a.m. from Nanaimo to Vancouver and then returned to Nanaimo with a 12:00 p.m. sailing.
Things took a turn for the worse for hopeful passengers shortly after.
The scheduled 4:30 p.m. sailing to Vancouver didn’t leave the Nanaimo Port Authority — where both of Hullo’s vessels sit as of 8 p.m. according to data from MarineTraffic.
As a result, the 6:30 p.m. sailing from Vancouver to Nanaimo was cancelled as well.
Hullo was supposed to kick off its service on Monday from Nanaimo, but its fast catamarans never left the dock.
At the time, the company blamed the disruption on a power outage at its Nanaimo berth on Sunday due to strong winds.
Sailings were also cancelled on the inaugural day Monday, as well as Tuesday.
