Toronto Raptors preseason game in Vancouver sells out same-day

A Toronto Raptors preseason game in Vancouver sold out within a matter of hours on its first day of general availability.
Tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. this morning and by 10:25, some fans were already tweeting pictures of a sold-out stadium on TicketMaster’s website.

The NBA game is scheduled to take place at 5:00 p.m. on Oct. 8 and will see the Raptors face off against the Sacramento Kings.
On Wednesday, presale tickets were met with equal enthusiasm and also sold out within a matter of hours.
This will be the first of four preseason games played by the Toronto-based basketball team, with the other three taking place in Toronto and Chicago. It will also mark the sixth time the Raptors have played a preseason game in Vancouver, and the first since 2018.

In addition to the sold-out match, the Raptors will also host its annual open practice at Simon Fraser University in October. Leading up to the game, the team will practice from Oct. 3 until Oct. 7 at Christine Sinclair Community Centre in Burnaby.
The open practice will take place on Friday, Oct. 6. Tickets for the practice will go on sale Sept. 6 and net proceeds will go towards the SFU Athletics General Fund.
