Two injured after car crashes into Vancouver pizzeria Saturday

One person is fighting for their life in hospital and another is in critical condition after a car crashed into a downtown Vancouver pizza restaurant Saturday night.

Video online appears to show the front window of Pacifico Pizzeria, located on Smithe Street, with what looks to be a blue sedan rammed right through the front door.

BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) says it believes a cyclist and someone inside the restaurant were hit, but it’s unclear who is in critical condition.

BCEHS says the driver was not taken to the hospital.
