Vancouver police are investigating a shooting in East Vancouver that sent two people to hospital with serious injuries Sunday just after midnight.

Police say it happened near East 28th Avenue and Victoria Drive.

Officers responded to a 911 call saying one man had been shot, then got another call half an hour later reporting another man was shot in the same area.

The VPD’s Major Crime Section says it has identified a suspect. They say they believe the victims and suspect are known to each other.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
