$1M lottery ticket sold in Maple Ridge to expire this week

The BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) says now is the time to check bags, suitcases, junk drawers, or anywhere else you may have stashed a lottery ticket.
A $1 million-dollar-winning Lotto 6/49 ticket, which was purchased in Maple Ridge on Sept. 28, 2022, is set to expire after midnight this Thursday, the BCLC says.

“All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize,” it said in a news release.
“The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winner’s name, will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim the prize.”
The BCLC says the winning Gold Ball draw number was 12299795-01, and that players can check their tickets anytime online or in person at lotto retailers.
