SkyTrain Expo Line service stalled between Main and Nanaimo stations

Vancouver’s SkyTrain experienced disruptions Sunday morning, with service suspended on its Expo Line between the Main, Broadway and Nanaimo Stations.

As of 9:40 a.m., TransLink says Expo Line is back up and running as usual, but some gaps and delays in service are to be expected.

On either side of the subsequent stations, TransLink says the trains continued running as normal during the disruption.

Service remained available between Waterfront Station and Main Street Station, and between Nanaimo Station and King George/Production Way-University Station.

According to an X post by TransLink, a stalled train in the Commercial-Broadway area caused the disruptions.

TransLink says the issues began around 8:30 a.m.

The transit company also says it set up a bus transfer service between the Main and Nanaimo Stations.

Millenium Line and Canada Line were unaffected.
