Shots fired at Surrey residence Sunday: RCMP

The Surrey RCMP says it’s investigating a report of shots fired at a local home Sunday afternoon.

Mounties say it happened in the area of 127 Street and 68 Avenue just after 4 p.m.

“No one was injured during this incident, but the residence sustained damage consistent with bullet holes,” the Surrey RCMP told CityNews.

Police add officers remained in the area to examine the scene and speak with witnesses.

The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit says it believes this was an isolated incident and there is “no risk to public safety.”

Officers say they’re working to determine a motive.
